TST-PAK — Offline-First Shop Management
A Windows desktop app for Pakistani retail shops that runs completely without an internet connection.
Plenty of shops in Pakistan have unreliable internet but still need proper bookkeeping. Cloud-only software simply fails in those conditions.
Our answer was a native desktop app built on Tauri 2 and Rust:
• Runs entirely offline, with data in a local database
• Sales, purchases and returns
• Customer-wise credit and ledger management
• Barcode scanning and thermal printing
• Stock alerts and expiry tracking
• End-of-day cash summary
• Optional cloud backup whenever a connection is available
The app is around 12 MB and runs quickly even on older Windows machines.
